Like most things that are cool and worth checking out, you usually find that you need to dig a little deeper to find great restaurants in Texas. Again, if you are talking about Dripping Springs restaurants, you may find that digging a little deeper is not entirely necessary.
Over the past few years, this small town in Texas Hill has been at the forefront of the Egyptian Texas movement, making it a place for those who love good food that is local and fresh. In addition, Dripping Springs has been featured in some of the more well-known publications, which mark all things from farm to market, gourmets and not missed. High praise for such a small place in Texas.
So little? Well, according to some sources, the entire city covers only about four square miles, and the population reaches 4,000 inhabitants. They are served by DPISD, and the city is located in the northern county of Hayes, one of the 20+ counties that make up the state of Texas Hill. In fact, Dripping Springs has two special claims to fame: 1) they are often called the “Wedding Capital of the World”; and 2) they also state the motto “Gateway to the Hill Country,” although, in truth, most cities bordering this area of Texas have the same motto.
Now it is important to keep in mind the size of the city only because there really can be so many places to bite to eat within the city. At some point, getting great food can mean that you are accepting a restaurant, which, although it is considered a place for snowshoeing, is just a little outside the city.
Here are a few Dripping Springs restaurants that may not be where you expect:
New Canaan Farms - This place is a supplier of small, handicraft products and has a strong presence on the Internet. They take their place in a specialty store, although their store is worth a visit.
Argus cidery - Restaurants can be in different forms with certain specialties, and for Argus Cidery - all about apples. In addition, their tasting room not only serves as an excellent social destination, but your product is R & D.
Celtic Sea - If you do one thing, make it your business. The Celtic Sea is famous for salmon. They also have a relationship with Lox, Box and Barrel, and both organizations are “mandatory” for all food lovers.
Drop of wine - Another dish in the restaurant, this team of three wineries in the area (Bell Springs, Westcave Cellars, Hawk & Shadow), attracting an alternative approach to seizing a bite. While some offer delightful trips for visitors, everyone welcomes picnics.
Regardless of what you cut, there is always something special about Dripping Springs restaurants. Not only is good food, quality ingredients and local business appreciated, there is appreciation for what makes life good.
