It seems that almost every day someone offers a seminar or a webinar in social networks. We were told to sit and learn various tools and strategies in social networks. You ask yourself: what else can you say about social networks? What does all this mean to me and my business? Good questions.

Too often, presenters talk about the different components of social networks, without explaining why businesses should be involved. Not understanding What for You can not fully appreciate what you are missing. You also will not know how to properly use these powerful marketing tools. Without this understanding, business people blindly publish tweets, blog columns, and videos, and then wonder why they are not responding. They also quickly lose faith and cease their efforts.

In both the traditional business and the MLM / network marketing business, social media strategy should be part of your overall marketing efforts. You can still use some traditional media, but you must also use new online tools. That's why:

Imagine social media is a city square. People go there to chat, ask questions, capture, share and exchange information. If you are not participating, prospects, customers and ordinary people can talk about you (good or bad), and you will not have the opportunity to respond. Similarly, they can seek help in areas in which you could help. If you do not become known, these people can go to another place to get answers. And buy.

Unfortunately, some companies participate only because everyone else. Let me give you some perspectives. In 1997, I worked at an Internet provider. Then many of our clients sites consist of one page. One client had a two-page site. Wow

Cost was a factor, but the problem was bigger. I believe that many firms host sites solely because their competitors have one. Admittedly, my company did not very well explain the true value of the website. (Keep in mind that e-commerce has not become standard practice.) They would pay for the creation of the site, and then take up their business.

Today, clients of all ages use social media platforms to communicate. What should you do? Participate, but systematically. Focus on releasing valuable content; Content that interests piques solves problems and, otherwise, raises the awareness of your company. Observe the types of questions asked and the topics raised. To what extent can you write about these (and other topics) as they relate to your business?

Keep in mind that visitors crave information. Change sales levels and increase useful content. Use your knowledge and experience to offer suggestions that will improve our lives.

You can still work in marketing. Facebook has proven to be a powerful platform for large firms to hold contests and other interactive events. Think about interesting ways to attract visitors to your fan page and reward them accordingly. Gift certificates, coupons and other rewards help to keep interest and following.

Be patient when you run your social media campaign. You may not immediately see a terrific answer. Go ahead and eventually you will develop the following. These are the ones who lead - this is gold for your company.
