Children always produce works of art, but there is not always free space in the fridge. Here are some custom framing ideas that open up new spaces for art in the house. Thanks to these DIY projects, creating a display space can include its own possibilities for artistic expression. Postpone your weekend to one of these projects and make the most of your time together.

Sea shells from the sea shore

When families take vacations to the beach, they often come home with buckets of collected shells. A custom framing project can make an ideal place to display pencil drawings or vacation photos. First, make the frame itself out of wood. If you buy one that is already assembled, find a simple, flat and wide surface. For attaching shells there should be a lot of area over the entire area. Secondly, the front and side should be painted, preferably the beach, like sandy brown or blue. Shells can be glued to the surface after the paint has dried. Finally, secure the tab or other suspension device on the back.

Magnetic frames for refrigerators

Children appreciate the space on the fridge, but they also crave attention and recognition that their art has been noticed. Instead of encouraging a fridge completely covered in leafy art, consider making it a special place for three or four items at a time. Magnetic frame can be used to draw attention to the new work. Attach two strong magnets to the back of any bright, traditional frame and proudly show off your children's masterpieces.

Discs with cork

For children whose past works are quickly eclipsed by new masterpieces, you can attach individual frames around the rectangle of the cork board to be deployed. The artist can fix the newest exhibition in place, even before the marks are completely dead. This kind of space can also be used to pin lists of products, receipts, and other important paper notes.

Decorating used frames

For the youngest children, art projects often consist of simply applying glue and paint at random (under the supervision of adults). Collecting a few shots from thrifty stores or garage sales, you have a starting point for a unique artistic project. Supply glue, glitter and paint, and your child can make an ordinary frame really attractive. Depending on the results, you can even take one or two frames to work with family photos. After returning home, your child is twice proud to show his work, surrounded by their own frame.

Whichever type of imaging method is chosen, any of these ideas can increase a child’s confidence, confirming that their work attracts attention. Whenever your child demonstrates a new job, even if you are too busy to offer praise at the moment, they may remember the time spent with scissors and glue a few months before. After the children have gone past their days with pencils, art projects for the weekend can serve as reminders and souvenirs by themselves.
