Ardgartan
The waters of Loch Long, in the shadow of the forest Argyll.
Ardgartan is located on the banks of the Loch Long, within the Argyll National Park. Through the A83 are the Shoemaker and the Arrochar Alps. Catch shy deer, rabbits, squirrels and more than 30 species of birds in the forest. Herons, seals and porpoises live in the lake. Walkers, boats, mountain bikers and fishermen will find a lot of things to do. When you are tired, you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
- The Inveraray on Lough Fyne has a fairytale castle and a gloomy prison. On the lake is the Arctic penguin, which is now a floating maritime museum.
- Along the lake is the breathtaking Auchindrain Township Museum and the Argyll Wildlife Park, a refuge for wildlife.
- Try the famous local Loch Fyne oysters and visit the Ardkingall’s beautiful forest gardens. Before returning to the site, stop on the site to relax and receive thanks from the A83.
- Visitors to the Argyll Center are located at the entrance to the site. In the forest you will find several walks and bike trails. Canoes and boats can be used from the site, although there is no launch vehicle. Anglers catch sea trout and mackerel.
- Join the West Highland Railway in Arrochar and take a trip to Mallaig, which is considered one of the Great Railway journeys of the world.
- Near Arrochar there are pubs and restaurants. The main stocks of stores. Supermarkets and larger stores are located in Helensboro, 20 miles from the hotel.
- Children will enjoy the beach and you can hire boats.
- There are two more camps in the forest - make sure you get to the correct site.
- Since the plot is tilted in some places, armrests are needed.
