The obvious advantage of automated parking systems is the ability to customize more cars in a smaller space, which can solve many parking problems, but there are many other benefits for the developer, the operator, the consumer, and society as a whole. For example, consider the countless acres of open space consumed by car parks. Independent ramp garages are more efficient, but still occupy twice the amount of space than automatic commercial parking. In contrast, automated residential or commercial garages are a green solution, as they leave open space, have low energy consumption and do not have carbon emissions, because the vehicles are turned off before they are parked in the system.
The mechanical system operates according to the same principle as the storage system with a large compartment and is very easy to use. The entire operation observed in typical automatic parking systems can be shown in the following simple steps:
1. The customer has parked his car in a large room for carrying, just like in the garage at home. But the advantage of this parking system is that parking assistance will provide accurate information about whether the car is in the right position. After that, the car is measured and weighed.
2. The client leaves the car, answers three short questions at the terminal in the side room and gets a ticket. What happens will happen automatically.
3. After checking the sensors to make sure that there are no people or animals in the car, the car and the palette on which it stands are moved to the transport unit and rebuilt.
4. Using the palette system prevents damage to the car, as it is not touched during the parking process. After reinstalling the vehicle, it is transported to an empty parking space in the shelf system.
5. When the client returns, he is obliged to pay the parking fee at the payment machine. After payment, the transport unit retrieves the vehicle from its shelf and returns it to the manual one.
6. Then the client enters manually and takes out the car without having to move back when the vehicle is already in the right direction.
Automated car parking systems - how it works
As soon as a customer knocks his car in his carry-on baggage, the crane mechanism turns the car in the right direction and takes it to the shelf system where the car is deposited in an empty parking unit.
A unique feature of this mechanical system is that even the space between the receiving and the destination can be used for watching cars, since it consists of a rack of mobile parking units. This patented combination of stationary and movable racks allows the automated parking system to make the most of the parking space for any building, including parking in a minimal area.
When a client comes to pick up his car, they tell him in which manual room the car will appear. The system then removes the car and returns it to manual, and the front of the car faces the exit, allowing the client to move directly from the automated system.
