Top forging tips for this perfect lawn -2

Nothing can make normal calm gardeners hotter under the collar and more, before starting to throw aspirations at each other than those relating to how to mow this lawn.

Let's make it clear here that the following is a matter of personal opinion based on experience over the years. A great chance that you will find many capable and excellent articles with recommendations that directly contradict some of what is said below.

In the end, you may have to simply weigh things, form your own opinion, and then decide whether to try some of them for yourself!

1. Do not skew. There is no real firm definition of how often you should mow your grass for the best effect and healthy yield. This has a lot to do with personal preferences, the season and the condition of your lawn.

However, try not to plant your mower on the grass every five minutes, as this will inevitably compact the soil and put a blow to the roots.

2. Buy or use a lawnmower of a size appropriate for your lawn. Attempting to cope with one that is really too small is likely to bore you with a bit faster, which means that you will be less inclined to do a good and thorough job.

3. Think about a zero-mower lawn mower if you have a lot of trees, poles and other obstacles on the lawn. They will get much closer to the edge of the obstacle, and then reduce the need for re-viewing with a trimmer or other main device to trim the edges. Yes, you can get fantastic results with hand sneezes - ideal if you have a lot of time to save!

4. Avoid cutting grass when it is very wet. You will receive road signs and grooves in the soil, so as not to say anything of bad quality and traffic jams under the surface of your mower because of sticky residues, etc.

5. Whatever your cutting surfaces, keep them in pristine condition. Attempting to cut anything with a blunt edge or damaged and wear-resistant surfaces is likely to end up looking like a patchwork quilt.

6. If you decide to leave a thin layer of cuttings on the grass using mulch, controversial, as it may be, then fine. Make sure, however, that you quickly shoot it to provide full light through the still living grass and seeds.

7. Learn how to check the amount of soil compaction and make sure it is periodically carbonated. There are all sorts of tools and methods for this, some of which may include the use of your tractor or lawn mower.

8. Make sure you choose the right type of grass for the lawn. No matter how carefully and carefully you mow the lawn, if it has the wrong type of grass, the results will be disappointing. A classic example is, of course, the use of very fine grass in areas with high levels of use.

Good luck next season!
