Trekking along the Coleman River -2

As a precaution, this trail is riddled with poorly supported bridges. Nevertheless, it is a quick and short route, where its trail follows the confluence of the Coleman River and the Tallulah River from a steep gorge. To get here, just take US 76 to 8 miles, which is west of Clayton, Georgia, and then turn right, moving north along Persimmon Road. Drive 4 more miles and then turn left along the 70 Road forest road until you find a right track about 1.25 miles along the way.

The height of this confluence is about 2,200 feet. This trail is located in the district of Rabun in the area of the river Chtotoga. The only problem you will encounter along this path is its dilapidated bridges with straightened handrails, and sometimes the floor on it has already disappeared. It would be better to stay careful and stay away from these types of artificial structures.

Dedicated to the first ranger of the Tallulu region, R. K. Nicholson, his sphere was originally part of the Chattahoechi National Forest. The path to the Coleman River is an underwater path that you can reach during a hike along the Tallulah River. The trail also joins forests where several species of flora grow, such as mountain laurel, rhododendron and mountain camellia. Access to fishing is also found along this trail when it moves upstream, but note that only artificial lures are allowed along the Coleman River.

The start of this ascending trail is right in the park area of the Coleman River about 150 yards north of camping in the Tallulah River. It is located in the parking lot of the Tallulah River right in front of its first bridge. You can see the notes in the parking lot, and the white triangular path lights up. Expect a light and moderate climb up the path as it is parallel to the Coleman River. This gentle climb will lead you to the rhododendron thickets, where you will pass a small camping site with a swimming pool nearby. Also on this road you can see several cascades where they are separated by cold mountain reservoirs. The scenery creates a soothing and relaxing atmosphere.

Several huge boulders on the river also add beauty to this beautiful natural landscape. The water cascades over these huge stones makes it look like tiny waterfalls. There are several clusters of trees surrounding this path as it closely follows the 330-acre area of the Coleman River. The place offers a quick hike and some pleasant outdoor activities along the river.
