The best things to do in Hyde Park during the summer -2

We look at the most interesting things that visitors can visit in and around Hyde Park during the summer months.

Go swimming in Serpentine Lido

Britain’s oldest swimming club is based on serpentine, while Lido itself was opened to the public in 1730. It has many amenities, including a sunbathing area with deck chairs to rent during the day, a small cafĂ© serving tea, coffee and snacks, as well as a main swimming pool and a children’s pool. Lido is very busy on warm summer days, but in the rest of the park there is more than enough open space if you want to soak up the sun and take a break from walking in the park. Lido is open from 10:00 to 18:00 (last entry at 5:30 pm), every weekend through May and every day from June 1 and beyond.

Wander through the Lancaster Gate

Known as the Upper Hyde Park Gardens in the past, the beautiful area boasts some of the most typical London houses in the city. Terraced buildings, which are now mostly divided into apartments or used as offices and embassies, are covered with plaster and designed by F & H Francis. There are also remnants of the old church, the church of Christ in the area. Only the spire remains to this day, but this is a bizarre part of the history of London and is worth a visit. The streets return to the park, which makes the property the most attractive in the area and walks through the nearby streets. There are great people here who are looking at opportunities.

Afternoon tea at Royal Lancaster London

Royal Lancaster London is a historic hotel located near Hyde Park. Built in the 1960s, the hotel has long been at the forefront of trends in accommodation and dining in London. Using the knowledge they have gained over the years, Royal Lancaster offers one of the best events in the city. The hotel’s modern offer includes seasonal discounts at local events such as the Chelsea Flower Fair. Expertly blending the traditions of the British staples and modern culinary techniques, tea in Lancaster is a cut above the rest. Dainty patisseries, scones and even hand-made lollipops are all menu grace creating an enchanting experience for all family members, they also have children. The perfect way to refuel after a long walk in the park and around.
