Steam cleaners naturally occupied the flooring market. They advertise their ability to disinfect hard floor surfaces only with water, which is healthier and cheaper than chemical cleaners. Having a lot of different brands and types, it becomes difficult to decide which one is better. Here we compare the four best participants: Haan, Shark, H2O and Gruene Steam.
Haan Steam Cleaners
Haan Cleaners offer several products that work using hot mist to disinfect various parts of the house. Haan steam vacuum cleaners suck up dirt and clean the floor by turning the switch. These vacuum cleaners, designed to treat all floors with a hard surface, work on laminate, vinyl and tile, hardwood, marble and others. For clothing and light fabrics, Haan provides a sewing boat. This item is intended for the destruction of germs and refreshing draperies, pillows and soft objects, including beds for animals and stuffed toys.
HS-20 Deluxe Personal Sanitizing Steam Cleaner disinfects narrow spaces as it is a hand-held machine. Safe and efficient on all surfaces and materials, this steamer comes with a range of accessories, including brushes and a squeegee. For consumers who do not want to buy several different devices, the MS-30 multifunctional steamer cleans floors, sinks, walls, countertops, ceilings and windows. Only with the use of water it eliminates aggressive chemicals, and also includes investments for various works. However, one of the main drawbacks of the Haan chip is its price, since it is traditionally much more expensive than competing models, without bringing much value.
Shark
Like Haan products, Shark® 2-in-1 Vac-then-Steam ™ allows users to vacuum dust and particles and then clean the floor with steam coming only from water. The Shark product works on bare floors, dries in a few seconds and provides cleaning with vapors that make up at least 15 minutes, with a cleaning of 99.9%. It comes with two excellent cleaning, quick-drying microfiber cleaning pads, an easy-to-fill water tank, 30 feet of cord, and a storage tray. For other floor cleaning solutions, the Shark® Portable Steam Pocket® cuts grease and dirt in the kitchen, bathroom, and any makeup area. This manual steamer also contains no chemicals. It includes an extension hose, a cylinder cleaning towel, a wedge cleaning attachment, two microfiber cylinder pockets, one dust extraction pocket in the cylinder, two microfibre pockets, a straight nozzle, a set of clothes, two bristles, scrubber pockets , pocket wedge bag. However, like Haan, the well-known name for a shark can often mean a higher price, although consumers do not necessarily get the best value or the best tool for cleaning.
H2O Mop
Along with the Haan and Shark products, H2O Mop® combines water with steam and disinfects floors using microfiber floor cloth under the machine. Without requiring any chemicals, toxins are not released into the air with these types of cleaning products. Steam quickly removes dirt and grime, killing dust mites and certain strains of bacteria. H2O Mop® can be used in bathrooms, kitchens, lobbies, as well as around pets and children. Like other vapor cleaners, it can be used on laminates, hardwood, vinyl, marble, slate, ceramic and carpets. This unit includes a 17-foot cord, a measuring cup, two microfibre pads, carpet and a one-year limited warranty. Machine washable, microfiber pillows can be used several times. Although H20 Mop® is effective on floors, it is not a multifunctional product. Unlike competitors, it cannot convert to a pocket unit and does not come with applications for cleaning other household items.
Gruene Steam Mop
Designed to disinfect hard floor surfaces, the Gruene Steam Mop is comparable in some aspects to other steam cleaners. Like others on the market, this product uses only water to destroy dirt and grime. Gruene Steam Mop leaves no residue or reduces air quality by releasing toxins. It is lightweight and comes with washer machines, which eliminate waste of disposable pads, which must be constantly replaced. In addition, even terry cloths can be used to clean gaskets, saving money.
Unlike other cleaners, the Gruene Steam Mop easily turns into a handheld steamer to handle all cleaning needs. Removing wrinkles from clothes, refreshing curtains, sanitizing mattresses, removing dirt around shells, cleaning golf clubs, cleaning tiles and more, this unit does it all. Of the other machines listed above, the Haan MS-30 universal steamer is the only other item that cleans the floors and also functions as a hand steamer. However, it is more expensive than the Gruene Steam Mop. The Gruene device also has protective measures to prevent burns. Instead of using a high pressure boiler, such as other steam cleaners, Gruene makes its installation efficient with a technology called Flash Heating. This process works like a water heater with less water in your home and will not accumulate heat, which can burn with your hands when the upper part is weakened. The most attractive aspect of the Gruene Steam Mop is that it was developed based on actual customer feedback instead of the engineer who never cleaned the floor or any other surface, for that matter.
With so many steam cleaners available, it may seem like a daunting task to choose the best one. However, first assessing your steam cleaning needs and exploring the options available from your best competitors, you must select the most efficient steam mop to get the job done for the first time.
