The cycle path extends from Ashland to Central Point, and Medford has many entry points. A cycle path is a great way to learn and enjoy nature. Walk, run, bike, skateboard, which you pass along Bear Creek. You can even take your dog for a nice long walk, which he asked you to do.
2. Get a beer
Medford has a variety of different bars, and they are all very different. You have local taverns right up to the hip hipster parties. My favorites include Elements, which offer upscale tapas and a bar. Howies, which is just a fun place for his whole personality. And I love going to Porters for a happy hour and sitting outside in the courtyard.
3. Visiting the park
There are parks scattered throughout Medford. There are several small parks that have no more than a couple of picnic tables. Others offer tennis and basketball courts. Others have play areas. And there are a few water parks for children.
4. Join a sports team
The city of Medford offers all sorts of sports leagues throughout the year when softball is one of the most popular. In fact, I believe that last year there was something like 112 different softball teams. But they also offer football, volleyball and basketball.
5. Take a class
From Medford offered all sorts of classes. Rogue Community College (RCC) offers all kinds of classes on various topics. Medford also offers a variety of classes. But there are also many non-profit and other businesses that offer free and paid classes.
6. Events in high school
If you are aware of the budget when it comes to things, I would strongly recommend checking out local universities to find out what is happening and when. For a few dollars you can often get into a game or a sporting event.
