The Plitvice Lakes are a unique natural pearl, unique on any meridian or parallel of the planet Earth. Srecko Bozichevich 1994. Born in Velika Trnovičice in 1935 near the town of Bjelovar, Croatia, in the family of a teacher. The photo exhibition of the Plitvice Lakes invites viewers to show interest in the unique territory of the Croatian homeland, which is included in the world register of natural heritage and is protected by UNESCO. Srecko Bozichevich, Doctor of Geology, has been a member of the Zagreb Photo Club since 1959, when he began working at the Institute of Geological Research. He participated in numerous field expeditions, photographing his research work.

The photograph attracted Dr. Bozichevich from early university days. In 1956, he published the first newspaper articles accompanied by his own photographs. He also participated in various collective exhibitions and presented more than 20 solo photographic exhibitions. Dr. Bozichevich received many awards and tablets for his photos and slides. His main interest was speleological photos and photographs related to the morphology and hydrogeology of the earth's crust.

His photographs illustrate his own books “Light Underground”, “Vrlovskaya Cave”, “Man in the Underworld”, “Through Our Caves”, “Cave as Tomb”, “Appearance of KRS”, as well as numerous articles in professional journals and popular magazines. In 1987, Dr. Bozichevich received the Fran Tukan Republican Prize for the popularization of science and the highest national award “Honored Caver” for speleological research and field work. In 1995, he was proclaimed an honorary member of the Croatian Geological Society.
