 Cleaning the built-in dishwasher -2

An integrated dishwasher requires cleaning, just like any other type of dishwasher. One of the differences is that you don’t need to worry about cleaning the front panel of the appliance from the built-in versions, because it has a fascia that matches the rest of your kitchen. No, the important cleaning I’m talking about should be done inside the washing machine. Therefore, open this door and get ready to remove the dirt and leftover food that has accumulated over several months, and maybe years, of use!

First check the drain at the bottom of the dishwasher, it will be a large round hole - you cannot miss it. There is a wire mesh covering the hole, which can sometimes collect a variety of food particles. Unscrew the top of the drain hole to remove and clean the mesh.

Your dishwasher's rotating sleeves are also the main cleaning suspect. There are small "holes" (nozzles), which after a while can be blocked. Take a small wire or toothpick to clean them.

Another area to check is the bottom of the door when you open it to yourself. Fully open it and bend down to view the outside of the door seal. Some food stains may have fallen here earlier when you put the dishes in the appliance. Give him a clean cloth with a cloth.

The last thing to check is any scale that can be applied with solid water. It is quite easy to notice - white markings around the nozzles for hands, on the side, etc. If your car suffers from this, take half a lemon, put it in the dishwasher and perform a short cycle. This should do the trick!

A dishwasher should only need cleaning every 6 months or so, and it usually takes just a few minutes. Cleaning can also improve the cleaning ability of detergents after the machine has been clogged, so it is in your interest to maintain it!
