The strength, flexibility and appearance of the joints will certainly depend on the type of wood used, and how well the wood has been cut and shaped. However, no matter what kind of wood you choose, it is always important to use the tools of the right mix. Here is a list of the most common:

a hammer

Use a hammer to drive nails into wood and other materials included in the project. A hammer is also commonly used to remove unwanted nails. There are various types of hammers that you can use. Here is a short list:

Claw Hammer:

A claw hammer is one of the joining tools that every woodworker must possess. When you buy a claw hammer, you will find that it comes with a variety of handles: from wood, steel, rubber to plastic. Choose one that feels better in your hands and of course you can afford.

Wooden hammer:

A wooden hammer is a wooden hammer, but more than a normal hammer.

Screwdriver

Flat slot: This is a type of screwdriver for all possible sizes. It is important to always use the correct size to avoid damage to the screw / wood, as well as to ensure that the screws are well tightened.

Phillips: using a Phillips screwdriver, you can better control the screw. There are no recommended sizes. 1, no. 2 and no. 3

Robertson: also called “head screws”. They are similar to Philips screwdrivers, but have a square head for an even easier screw control.

Nails and screws

nails: They are usually driven into the workpiece with a hammer. Nails connect tools that come in different shapes and forms. Common types of nails are round wire (long and thick flat head used for general work), oval wire (long with a small round head), lost head (long with a small round head). Ideally, when it is necessary to hide a nail head), a panel finger (a very thin nail with a small round head often used with glue), a foot (short with a large and flat head) and a sprig (short trapezoid rectangular body without a head).

Screws: There are 3 different classes of screws: 1) flat, 2) round and 2) heads. The flat screws inside are almost invisible on the surface. Round head screws are commonly used for decoration. Screw-head screws are thicker near the circumference than a round head. This gives a large surface area for driving, especially for slotted or flat drivers.

Whip hold or temporal hold

Vibrating clamps are mechanical screws that are used to hold or clamp. There are different types of business cards:

Bench Vise: Usually portable, the vice can be screwed or clamped on a bench or desktop. They come in different sizes to fit all types of projects.

Vise Workshop: Usually with swivel bases. Sometimes they come with an integrated anvil.

Woodworking equipment: These clutches must be installed on a workbench. The pin on the vise slides upward to work with the benches so that your material is firmly held in place.

Hose clamps

Clamps connect tools that are very often used in woodworking. They are intended for fastening parts after gluing them. There are many different types of clamps that you will need, and it is a good idea to keep most of them in your tool box:

C-Clamps: Double threaded gasket for quick clamping and durability.

F-clips: Like C-clamps, but with wider jaws for wider wood. It is also called a “clamping clip” or “speed bracket”.

Tape clip: Also called a “web clamp”. It is very useful when the surfaces of the clamping elements are not parallel to each other, when you need clamping pressure from many directions, as well as when you have to clamp several surfaces.

Mitral clamp: Designed to hold the joints of the miter. The design of the mitral clamp looks quite difficult. It consists mainly of a fixed and mobile jaws, which are activated cam.

dowel

The dowel is a cylindrical wooden pin that is used to strengthen a wooden joint.
