The magic and mystery of Halong Bay -2

Halong in northeastern Vietnam is one of the most picturesque places on earth. It is not surprising that he won so many awards from significant organizations around the globe. UNESCO included it in its list of World Heritage Sites and was chosen as one of the “Seven Wonders of Nature”. CNN and Tatler also identified it as one of the most important and beautiful places to relax. Something like Vietnam until recently, it has been growing in popularity over the last decade. As Southeast Asia opened, more and more people choose two or three center festivals, and Vietnam was a big winner.

Since the bay has grown in popularity, it is the predominance of boat companies operating in the area. During the peak season, about 8,000 people a day will travel six hundred square miles in the area, enjoying luxurious surroundings and exquisite cuisine, taking the most breathtaking views imaginable. The luxury aboard these ships is outstanding. Beautifully decorated cabins, with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies, welcome passengers of cruise liners in their floating hotels every night.

The bay is an amazing example of the beautiful work of nature. Two thousand limestone islands, known as karst, pepper the whole bay, creating different perspectives at every turn. Sitting on the upper deck of a luxurious cruise ship, after eating a magnificent dinner, sipping cocktails when the sun sets, should be one of the best in life. Some of the limestone islands are more than cliffs that inhabit the mountain ranges. Others, however, are full islands with their own ecosystems and local populations.

Rock formations cause amazing geological wonders. For example, Sung Sot Cave is a very visited example. Translated as "Surprise Cave", it can be found on Bo Hong Island. It can be reached by climbing high on the side of a hill. This allows such passengers enough adventure, with superb views around the bay, before they descend into the magic and mystery of the cave. Here there are huge stalagmites and stalactites, including one excellent example of a column. In the heart of the cave there is a garden and a pond. Here, monkeys and birds come daily, in search of food.

When the night falls on the bay, the air of complete mystery falls on it. Boats anchor and bob gently into the water as guests enjoy drinks and get ready to retire for the evening. Many sit on the deck, under a blanket of stars, enjoying the tranquility. This is truly a magical experience in a truly magical place. After firing, they can drift to sleep, as the boats gently sway in the waters of the bay. Sunrise brings another glance and even more beauty. When daylight pushes darkness aside, mist rolls in and envelops the karst in a mysterious gray coating.

This is an incredible place to stay at most times of the year. Each season has its advantages and avoids the typhoon, which arrives between July and August, is your only weather.
