Magic Panorama Route and Oliver and the restaurant and lodge -2

Imagine ... dramatic mountain landscapes with isolated buds, straight rock faces and unusual geological features; Imagine breathtaking canyons, fabulous waterfalls and lush dense forests. I present to you the "Panoramic Route" in the Mpumalanga Magical Province of South Africa. Mpumalanga means the place where the sun rises.

The panoramic route offers the traveler a range of impressive scenic vistas to experience this wonderful country and includes a view of the Blyde River Canyon (its third largest canyon in the world) and its three windows Rondenwell, God's Window, Pinnacle Rock, Bourke and # 39; S Luck Potholes and many beautiful waterfalls such as Mac Mac, Lone Creek and Lisbon Falls. This region is also of historical importance, and a visit to the historic city of mining in the Pilgrim Rest is a must. Take a stroll on your quaint little main road, browse reconstructed historic buildings and miner's huts, visit the museum to see old relics, stop at the tourist office and join the excursion to experience hey-mountain days and try your hand at gold panning.

Most of the Panoramic Route is located on Highveld. The glances of God's window and Pinnacle Rock look behind the Lowveld's path. These 2 areas experience relatively different climates. Lowveld is subtropical, due to its abundance in the warm Indian Ocean and latitude. Highveld is relatively cooler because of its height from 2,300 to 1,700 meters above sea level. The Drakensberg gorge receives the most rainfall, with summer thunderstorms being watered moderately well in all other areas. Highveld often suffers from severe frost, while Lowveld is mostly freezing cold. Winter rains are rare, with the exception of some rains on the slope.

My suggestion to you when traveling to South Africa is to combine a two-day stay at or near The Panorama Route, with your African safari in the new Kruger National Park or private reserves west of Kruger. Three of my all-time favorite luxury gaming houses are the Londolozi private game reserve, the Savannah private reserve and the Private hunting reserve. All of them are located in the Sabi Sands Reserve, known for its excellent game viewing and, in particular, for its brilliant leopard observations.

Now, to get you back to your experience on the Panorama Route route, my suggestion here was to stay in the award-winning restaurant, Oliver & Lodge. This house has created a great name for itself. This owner works and offers a friendly home away from home. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful country golf complex, not far from the Panoramic Route, the Kruger National Park and the nearest Nelspruit International Airport.

The rooms of Oliver & Restaurant and Lodge are luxurious, spacious and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail is superb. Personal service is the highest class. The kitchen must die. These combined attributes bring absolute pleasure to stay here.

Spend the day relaxing in the pool or pampering yourself at the spa and wellness center. Playing golf is right on your doorstep at White River Golf Club. Outdoor activities in the region are numerous and include a quad bike, swinging gorges, water rafting, a balloon, air scenic flights, hiking and horseback riding. Obviously, with the Kruger National Park, which is only 25 km away, you can also enjoy day games in your own car. Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day wandering through the park, looking into our enchanting African wildlife.

Thus, you see many options available to you in this area. It is worth spending a few nights here to get to know him and his friendly people. Another great part of our Rainbow Nation!
