Paris is an amazing city. We all heard the statements “City of Love” “The Most Romantic City in the World” “City of Lights”, after he visited this city and experienced it firsthand, I can tell you that all this is true.
The city is very beautiful. The architecture is awesome, amazing tourist attractions, and I found people friendly. Paris is a place that you cannot describe in words to someone, this is a place that you must experience for yourself. The city is like a living museum, with architecture dating back to the 13th century. It was then that Notre Dame began to be built.
The greatness of Paris really became apparent in the 16th century, when Versailles became the headquarters of Louis XIV. In the 19th century, Napoleon appointed Baron Osmann to develop modern Paris with its long boulevards and beautiful buildings, wide avenues and parks, which still make the city unique.
Paris is renamed internationally for its architecture and its influence in fashion and art. A walk is the best way to see and feel the city. You can explore areas of cities, its old centers, cemeteries and beautiful parks. When you first come to Paris, I strongly recommend to go to “Hop”, “Hop off buses”. Stay in touch and make a circuit and feel where everything is. It is very easy to walk as soon as you know where you are.
I remember once, later in the afternoon, we left Notre Dame to our hotel near Place de la Concorde. It was very charming, and it became dark and the lights came on. We stopped to have dinner at the restaurant. It was just great. The Champs Elysees is a fantastic place to watch people watching. Another is the Place de la Concorde.
Those who are interested in a more refined atmosphere can visit areas such as Le Marais, Quartier Latin or the quaint Canal Saint Martin. If you like art galleries, museums or famous cabarets such as Folies Bergères, Paris has it all to satisfy your dreams. Keep in mind, the Moulin Rouge does not look much during the day, but it comes to life at night when the light is on.
The main attractions of Paris, of course, are the Eiffel Tower, originally a temporary construction of the universal exposition of 1889, the Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte and the massive cathedral of Notre Dame. A walk from Place de la Concorde to the Champs Elysées is also a must, as well as the world famous Louvre Museum. One place you must visit is the Montparnasse Tower. There are fewer crowds than the Eiffel Tower, it has a closed viewing area, as well as the opportunity to go to the roof. The best part is that you get the Eiffel Tower in your photos! I highly recommend.
Obviously much more to explore! Père Lachaise The largest cemetery in Paris and is considered the most visited in the world. The huge and peaceful park is the home of those who have lived through French life over the past 200 years. Luxembourg Garden. Garden of the French Senate, which is also a large public park. Recommended place to relax and enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the rich palace garden.
Orsa Museum. This is a place for art and artifacts of the Middle Ages and impressionists with leading collections. Initially, it is worth visiting the railway station and the building itself.
Le Marais. Located on the right bank (3rd and 4th arrangement). This trendy area has beautiful 17th century architecture. There are also many museums, art galleries and historical sights, such as the oldest square in Paris, the Place des Vosges, where you can find the residence of Victor Hugues.
Montmartre. One of the most popular historical areas with the Sacré-Cœur Basilica on top of a hill, the highest point of Paris. He is also known for cafes and studios of many great artists. I recommend to take the tram to the top, then go down the stairs, and then see how the artists work on the narrow streets below. Wonderful experience.
Versailles. Near Paris, it was here that King Louis XIV built his palace in the 17th century. For those who love the architecture of the Renaissance, do not miss! The palace has been recently renovated and you will also enjoy wonderful walks in the well-kept gardens.
Bateaux Mouches. One of the most relaxing and romantic ways to see some of the most ancient and majestic historical monuments of the city is to take a ride on famous and unique boats that glide exclusively along the Seine. Since there are a number of operators to choose from, most boat lines offer similar routes and are equipped with an audio message system, providing comments on passing objects in several different languages.
In Paris you have to distinguish between restaurants, bistros or bras. The bistro is usually small, with a simple meal, sometimes with entertainment. The bra serves hearty meals, as well as beer and wine, usually cheap, with liquor and a cafe. Like New York or London, the choice is huge. Each place has its own special atmosphere and style, no matter where the recordings are local or from all over the world.
However, Paris has been renamed internationally as food capital. This is the right place to try high-quality French products and enjoy traditional French cuisine thanks to talented and creative chefs. Parisian restaurants are real gourmets. There are good places for all budgets. Whether it’s a restaurant, bistro or bra, you can enjoy a real culinary fever with gourmets from around the world.
