To remove pollutants from wastewater before unloading, industrial plants with flushing compartments are required. Flushing areas, such as truck wash holes, should remove suspended solids, grease, oil, grease and hydrocarbons before discharge to sewers, leaching drains, ponds, storage tanks or other approved sources of discharge. Car wash areas, such as single and multiple compartments in manual car washes, self-service, contactless and tunnel car wash systems, require low-cost and low-cost maintenance solutions.

Mineral water treatment requires special care and state-of-the-art technologies, since hydrocarbons, oils and lubricants require removal in order to adhere to strict hydrocarbon discharge standards at all production sites. Considerations include drainage considerations, sump design, flow calculations, equipment specification and solids handling control when developing mining solutions for the flushing compartment.

Wastewater treatment solutions are available for all industries, from small workshops to large-scale mining, as well as traditional or above-ground portable pits. They are usually cost effective and easy to install. To minimize water use and waste costs, cost-effective rainwater collection systems and water recycling systems can be used.

The reasons for non-compliance with sinks are: unloading wash water into storm drains, using aging equipment for wastewater treatment, the pH level of discharged water outside the approved limits and not using secondary treatment procedures necessary to remove some pollutants.

Washing compartments can be upgraded to meet AQIS criteria (Australian Quarantine Services). In the compartments for filling AQIS, treatment and / or recycling systems are required to meet water quality requirements. The installation of systems such as oil separators, 100 micron filters, water recycling systems and first discharge systems ensures that the fill compartment meets both AQIS criteria and the requirements of commercial waste.

In addition, finding out that the discharge is carried out in the sewage or permitted capacity for the release of AQIS, using biodegradable rapidly decomposable degreasing agents and detergents, and only screw rotary or diaphragm pumps for supplying water for washing through the cleaning system, ensures compatibility with the pouring system. When connected to sewers, it helps to check local waste management regulations.

It is also important to avoid the use of traditional solvent-based degreasing agents that do not have fast-depleting properties and do not emit any coolants, acids, caustics or chemicals through the water treatment system. Workshops or other areas should not pass water through the AQIS water purification system, and the flushing water should not be discharged directly into the storm sewer. Obtaining AQIS approval before installing the washbasin compartment avoids the need to change costs later.

Companies must enter into a maintenance agreement to maintain their car wash equipment in accordance with the rules. Regular maintenance of the wastewater treatment system makes it more efficient and capable of operating at maximum capacity for a longer time. It also indicates the possibility of violations and repairs, while maintaining a minimum.
