This island also has an old church and some giant Banyan trees.

One foot island, a small island in the southeast, is often considered the most important attraction. It provides the best views of Aitutaki Lagoon, and depending on the tide you can walk along the sandy shore at a decent distance from One Foot Island.

There are two other notable islets - Rapota and Moturakau.

Mangaya is the southernmost part of the Cook Islands, and the second largest after Rarotonga.

According to geologists, it is also considered the oldest island in the Pacific. This island is renamed its coconuts. Rarotonga is the most popular island of the Cook Islands, and on this island there are such important places as the airport and the parliament buildings.

Palm white sandy beaches occupied most of the island, and there is a popular walk around the island with the intersection of islands, which connects the Avatju Valley to the south side of the island. This walk goes through

Te Manga, a prominent needle-shaped rock, visible from the air and some coastal areas. It should be noted that Rarotonga has only two bus routes: clockwise and counterclockwise, as well as with the driver and drops someone in any place on the route. Manihiki is known as the island of pearls and is considered one of the most beautiful islands of the group.

Penrin Island is the most remote island of all 15 Cook Islands. This island is also called Tongareva, which is its original name.
