How to sleep while camping -2

How do you ensure a good night's sleep when you sleep in the fresh air? Having the right gear is a good place to start! Make sure your pillow, mattress, baby cot or hammock is soft enough to protect you from cold ground. In addition, there are also a few small actions that you can take before and during the night to improve the quality of sleep.

> Choosing the right sleeping platform:

  • Self-inflating foam lining: these pillows offer a combination of foam and air. The air automatically fills the pad when you open the pad valve.

  • Air bags: these pillows use air for cushioning and must be manually inflated. Some models include an external pump or an integrated hand pump to inflate the pillow.

  • Polyurethane foam: these pillows are the base for camping, in which there is a dense foam.

  • Air mattresses: they use air for comfort and are much thicker than the pads used for camping. They are considered to be the closest to the actual bed you can get, and, as a rule, their size is used for regular sheets.

  • Dogs: for use in campsites or other similar long-term purposes, cots keep your comfortable distance from the ground and can be easily adjusted by one person.

  • Hammocks: they are made of rope mesh and are hung with cords at the ends.

Other bedding includes pillows, eye masks, ear liners, neck pillows and a flashlight.

> Basic tips for sleeping outside:

  • Make sure you set up the tent on a flat, sturdy surface and do not place it on rocks, tree roots or pine cones.
  • Prepare for new conditions and embrace the experience, ignoring any temporary inconvenience. Voluntarily dive into the street!
  • You need to physically adapt to how cold temperatures can appear after the sun sets and how dark the night sky can be.
  • Take a break from modern amenities and take a moment to appreciate. Of course, do your best to be comfortable while camping, but you still understand that now you need to experience the world from a new perspective.

> Before calling it "Night":

  • Keep all food away from the tent.
  • Follow the normal sleep procedure.
  • Wear dry clothes.
  • DO NOT overload.
  • There is.
  • Exercise easily.
  • Drink water.
  • Use a special sleeping surface.

> At night:

  • Avoid listening to night sounds.
  • Get ready to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
  • First in the morning, drink bedtime bedding.

> Preparing for the weather:

  • On warm nights, you may not even have to fasten a sleeping bag. Be sure to pack sheets and blankets from home if you find that your sleeping bag is too warm.
  • For colder weather, the following tips are useful for reference:

  1. Wear long underwear and socks.
  2. Add foam.
  3. Have a warm drink.
  4. Wear a hat.
  5. Fill dry towels under the blanket.
  6. Keep a warm water-filled bottle, close your body.
