 Designing a built-in barbecue grill -2

Each backyard grill maestro wants to build his own backyard grill. It can be a simple brick model made of charcoal or a fully blown outdoor kitchen. In any case, you build your backyard, consisting of two phases, the design phase and the construction phase. Both phases are important, but the design phase provides the foundation for the entire project. This phase consists of three parts.

  1. Choose a design: There are three main projects in the backyard barbecue grill: Bar, L and U. The bar's design is a rectangle, usually 8-10 feet long and 3 feet deep. This model is ideal for an average lattice with a large number of balances. The construction L contains perpendicular expansion from the rod and looks like L from air. This model provides more space for the counterweight and has a capacity for a larger grill insert. The U design adds another perpendicular rod to the main unit. This is the perfect design for a BBQ. It has maximum space for the counterweight and cabinet and can be decorated with outdoor appliances, such as a sink and refrigerator.
  2. Draw a scale model: This is a necessary step to clear all the details of your built-in barbecue. You can draw your model on paper or using a computer. Both methods work well, and the choice depends on your preferences. A simple way to draw a model is to use SketchUp, a free 3D CAD modeling tool. It is easy to use and helps to visualize your grill on all sides.
  3. Mark the building area: The final design stage is to designate the perimeter of your grill at the place where you build it. Many times at this stage you decide to grill more or less; sometimes you even change the basic design due to space constraints. While this may be the easiest step, it is the most important step before building. There is nothing worse than laying a foundation just to find that the plans will not work as they would have been painted.

By following these three simple steps, you can design a grill that suits your grill style and will be useful for many years.
