Conceptual vision and goals for opening a new restaurant -2

My restaurant will be a French-American bistro called Brasserie II. The cuisine will consist of French cuisine, such as Steak Diane, escargots and Frog Legs Provencal. Obviously, for customers who do not prefer French cuisine, there will be sandwiches with hamburgers and delicacies. The restaurant will have a full-scale bar serving high-quality liquor and cocktails. Portland already has a restaurant called Brasserie Monmartre. The competition will be at a high level to turn people into our restaurant.

Vision:

About 3 years after opening, I see that the restaurant is becoming a profitable organization. There is no plan to open a new restaurant anywhere, even after a few years the restaurant will exceed its income. Instead, a possible expansion may include opening a new floor in the restaurant, depending on the location and the actual building in which the restaurant is located.

To meet my goals for this concept restaurant, I will need a four-year college degree rather than a two-year degree. This will make my background more reliable for investors. I would like to have more experience and training in marketing and accounting in order to maintain maximum profit in a restaurant.

Uniqueness:

The uniqueness of our restaurant is the level of customer service. For example, calling a customer by name. This is achieved by viewing the name on the check or credit card and memorizing it. If there is a repeat client, servers, bartenders, etc. They will be able to greet this person and call them there by the first name. It will make them feel welcome, and they will want to come back.

The place will be a big part of the success of the restaurant. We will be located near the MAX line. Parking is terrible on Friday or Saturday. Customers can use the MAX line as a form of a cheap, reliable and secure mode of transportation. Also, if a customer has too much to drink in a bar, they don’t need to worry about driving and getting a DUI.

Mission:

Our mission: “We will provide the best experience in our customer service. We will keep customers and their families wanting to visit again and again. ”

Ecological analysis of major environmental factors

Introduction:

There are many topical facts about the Portland area that will contribute to the success and demise of my restaurant concept. The most basic facts about this issue are that the population of Multnomah County (Portland) is about 650,000 people. This does not include suburban cities such as Beaverton, Hillsboro and Gresham.

With a population of over half a million plus only in the city, it is important to know the average income of employees. This average is about $ 34,500 per year. It is obvious that people will spend money on an institution with such a stake.

The plan is divided into 6 different subcategories. These factors that influence the marketing plan are geology, socioculture, political, economic, global and technical. Each of them has certain opportunities and risks that can harm or increase business.

Socio-cultural environment:

The first aspect is the location of the Portland area. It is located in the Willamette Valley. The Willamette River divides Portland into two parts along the East and the West. The climate is very obvious; it rains annually around 35-40 inches because we are in the northwest Pacific.

Capabilities:

The possibilities of accommodation are that the transportation of products is cheaper thanks to the River Willamette, which provides a way to deliver goods from the ocean to the city. Rain is not an opportunity, and it is not a risk. Oregonians are accredited for the constant rains in the fall and winter. Another possibility is that there are several breweries and vineyards in the Portland area. I plan to have a bar in the restaurant that will serve wine and beer from these local breweries and vineyards. Since they are so close, I can avoid high shipping and handling charges.

Streams:

There are some minor risks, as early as the end of 1996, the Willamette River was flooded, where the embankment park was closed. Somehow it affects the septic and sewage systems where businesses have suffered due to the weather. Also, when there is a little snowfall, everyone seems to remain in their home due to poor driving conditions.
