CHECK
1. Security. Many dogs try to exit the front door when it is open. They see how the owner leaves and wants to follow. Be careful when opening the door. Check where the guest dog is before opening the door and blocking the door with your body to avoid escaping. Do not leave the front door open and the storm door is unlocked. Your guest can jump in and push the handle on the storm door and exit. If they come out, they may get lost, get into the car or bite someone for fear. This is an area where things can go terribly wrong. BE FULLY FOR THEIR TOTAL!
2. Feeding: Serve only products and snacks provided by the owner. Never feed them table food or mix anything in your food to encourage them to eat. There is a good chance, it will give them an upset stomach. DO NOT DO THIS! Some dogs do not eat much when they are out. When you have several guests, they feed them at the same time, unless you eat only in the morning or Friday. Do not put their bowls next to each other and stay with them while they eat. If you leave, they eat each other and get sick. If your dog or guest dog gets wet food or something really tasty, like chicken while eating, feed them from other dogs to prevent fires. Some owners feed their dog for free {leave the bowl of food so they can eat when they want). This cannot be done when there are other dogs around. I suggest giving them four or five opportunities to eat during the day.
3. Fencing and gates: make sure that there are no holes under your fence that can squeeze small dogs. If a rabbit can run under your fence, it's just a matter of time before the little dog smells where it goes. Block the holes with wire. All gate latch. If the dog can push back one side of the shutter slightly and squeeze, he will do it. Dogs leaving should be your biggest concern. Even if the pet owner says that their dog never tries to get out, it means nothing. Be alert, even after them in your house for a few days.
4. Bathroom: When your guest first arrives, bring him out to immediately go to the bathroom. When they go, praise them. 6. Toys and treats: when you have more than one guest, be careful to let them play with the toys. From time to time it can cause a fight. The best way to avoid a dog biting a dog is to prevent a situation where this can happen. Leave the bones for them to chew. This will cause a fight, and they may break a tooth or suffocate. 7. Presence: When pets stay with you, they will contact you quickly. If you have more than one guest or pet, this often leads to jealousy and possessiveness. At the first sign of possessive-aggressive behavior (one dog growing on another, if he approaches you) strictly stops the behavior and distributes itself from the possessive dog and makes it extremely clear, you will not tolerate such behavior. If you have a dog, guest dogs will understand which house it is in and respect your dog and your relationship with your dog. Your dog should not be disturbed, because he must suddenly share his space with other dogs. This does not mean that he needs to eat steak in front of everyone else, but it means that he made him understand that he is special.
