Through the magnificent cities of Pinellas County in Florida, you will find tranquil parks that are nature reserves and a place for gathering and relaxing at the end of the day. Many entertaining playgrounds, boat ramps or settings on the lake, as well as picnic pavilions for a party or a family holiday. Here is a selection of our favorites:

Seminole Park in the city of Seminole is located on a magnificent lake where people enjoy water skiing or simply sit by the water and have a picnic. This is a great place for a party and has many paths in the park to watch wildlife, a walk or a roller blade in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, in the city of Seminole you will find a playground in the Seminole Recreation Center, which is covered, so you can have a shade all year round. With equipment that will suit children of many ages, this is a great place to beat the heat of summer!

Just around the corner in Largo is Largo Central Park. This park has a large open space, which is ideal for flying a kite, allowing the kid to run and is often used for city events such as cinema, art and food festivals and events with a touch display. The playground has a fenced area with three separate climbing facilities and is accessible to people with disabilities. Finally, they have a train that passes through the park, and is available to the public every month. You can also reserve it for a private party, which is fun for a child’s birthday or company events.

In the northern district of Pinellas you will find beautiful parks in Dunedin, Clearwater and Palm Harbor. Edgewater Park, located at the end of the main street in Dunedin, is located near the marina and can be an interesting place to see the sailboats go out for the day. There is a gazebo and a large area, where festivals and city events are often held. The play area here is shaped like a pirate ship and is very fun for children to slide, swing or run and play.

Philip Park in the Security Harbor is shaded by large oaks and is set right on the water. You can hold a gathering in one of your pavilions from the embankment so that children play on the playground and still remain cool in the summer because of the breeze from the water and the shadow above their heads. In Florida, this park is on top!

Finally, Anderson Park from US 19 and John Chesnut Sr. The park from East Lake Road in Palm Harbor leaves from Tarpon Lake and has boat ramps to access this water. Here you can ride a boat, fish or canoe all year round. The parks also have picnic pavilions, as well as playgrounds, baseball fields and walking paths with dogs, a quiet bike ride or a morning walk. There is also a large dog park in John Chesnu-Star Park, allowing your beloved pet to run and play with other animals! Make it a day for your whole family!
