Chemical Vs Laser Fat Removal - What is the Difference? -2

I often see questions online asking what is better for removing fat .... lipodissolve or Smartlipo? At first glance, this is a bit puzzling, because they are quite different methods and concepts for selectively unwanted body fat. But, given the impact that both have been associated with marketing over the past five years, it’s not really surprising that many of them are confused and ignorant.

The common thread that binds these two together, used in combination to treat fat, is that they are advertised as non-surgical operations. and can be performed under local anesthesia or in the office. While this is partly true, this excellent perception covers some of the more significant differences.

Lipodissolve is an in-office treatment that binds chemical interaction with the breakdown of fat cells. In order not to cause too much inflammation and tissue necrosis, the necessary amount of the chemical solution cannot be administered immediately. As a result, a series of injections are required, located at a distance of 4 to 6 weeks. As a rule, in order to see the effect, it usually takes at least 3 injection sessions. While the injection sounds more benevolent than the actual operation, the reality is that the infected area will increase significantly (twice as much) and remain so for a week. Although this chemical approach to fat reduction does affect, my experience in plastic surgery in Indianapolis showed that it only works on a fairly small area. (one hand size)

Conversely, Smartlipo is a real liposuction surgery. It uses a small laser probe to first heat and melt the fat in the treated area. As soon as fat is adequately liquefied, it is then sucked off. Smartlipo is the only treatment that causes the expected amount of sweep and some bruising. Since this is a one-time treatment, it is by definition a more effective method of removing fat. Since a laser probe can go anywhere, it is anesthetized and can remove as much fat as it can, it is also a more effective method of treating fats.

Smartlipo and Lipodissolve, apparently, are often confused. But they should not be. Smartlipo is a much more efficient and effective method of removing surgical grease. Lipodissolve, in my practice, is designed for very small fat collections, in which the patient does not want to undergo any surgery or secondary approaches after liposuction surgery. Better to avoid surgery, you sacrifice efficiency and effectiveness.
