Cafe Nelly - Green Chili Enchiladas, Red Chili Stuffed Sopapilla, Menudo, Chile Releos and great salsa.
Andele - Steak and Green Chile Torta, Green Chicken Enchiladas, Tacos al Carbon, Half Chicken to go and a really great salsa bar.
Cafe Dick is a place where locals go to Green Chilean Burgers and Salsa.
Cafe "Bravo" - Chicharon and Chile Raeleno Burritos, Tasty menudo and salsa.
Chilitos - The Great Fajitas and their chili are not too hot. Nice outdoor patio.
Roberto - vegetarian tamales with green chili and cheese. Chile is very hot.
Los Compass - Chile Raeleno Burritos, Tacos, Hot Salsa.
Si Senor - Ceviche (shrimps and crabs) tostadas, Salsa and Chip Dips, Sopapillas are gorgeous and free at the end of the meal.

La Posta - combined plates, chips and salsa, Empanada apricot with vanilla ice cream. Great atmosphere for tourists.
Yes, there are still many good Mexican restaurants in Las Cruces, but these are the ones that I ate and that I suggest taking your visitors who need chili.
