HKS Motorsports History
Being born from speed and performance, HKS is always active in motor sports and competitions, including various professional racing races, JTCC, JGTC, Formula 3, D1 Grand Prix, Superbikes and many others. Hi-Power Exhaust - as the name implies, the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust is designed with maximum power in mind, using technology and experience gathered in Japanese endurance and GT racing. Important features include an offset muffler and piping design, optimized for pipe size and minimized bends for an optimal exhaust path. Turbocharged cars will benefit from increased flow and lower backpressure, which will lead to a faster turboprop and higher power and torque. Naturally aspirated cars will also benefit from the high rotational speed that Hi-Power Exhaust provides, as the level of customization increases. All HKS Hi-Power tailpipes are made of SUS304 stainless steel, silencers and nozzles. Some applications come with an internal silencer to reduce noise.
Carbon-Ti exhaust - HKS Carbon-Ti Exhaust is a special version of Hi-Power exhaust. Like the Hi-Power Exhaust edition, the Special Edition versions of the HKS Carbon Titanium are also available for popular applications that have a carbon silencer, a titanium tip, and a polished SUS304 stainless steel pipe.
Titanium Racing Muffler Exhaust - HKS designed this edition specifically for its Toyota Supra racing cars. Optimized for power from 800 to 1000 horsepower, this release has a 102mm stainless steel piping and a 170mm titanium silencer. Titanium Racing Muffler is also 40% lighter than the usual HI-Power Muffler. This is the highest HKS exhaust stream and is designed and designed for racing purposes; It comes with a removable silencer when noise limiting is required.
Hood Dragger - HKS Dragger Exhaust is the first system that incorporates a seamless shell of the silencer, which results in a very even distribution of stresses and a smoother design. Turbo Exhaust - HKS Turbo Exhaust is designed for turbocharged vehicles from the factory and already has high power output. These high-power turbocharged vehicles needed a larger exhaust pipe and lower backpressure, so HKS uses a straight muffler and an optimized exhaust path for these applications. Benefits include boost pressure, faster response response, faster turbo-shock, lower turbocharging, and higher power and torque. Expect an average gain of 10-25 horsepower on a spare engine and much higher on a modified engine.
Legamax Exhaust - Legamax Exhaust was designed to optimize torque and power, creating a wider power band and higher peak outputs. To do this, each application is designed with different exhaust pipe sizes, different muffler designs, and different exhaust paths. This allows the exhaust gas to maintain speed with increasing volume flow. All Legamax exhaust systems are made of stainless steel for corrosion protection and better durability.

Silent Hi-Power Exhaust - HKS Silent Hi-Power Exhaust is a modified version of the conventional Hi-Power exhaust. Modifications of the muffler and the resonator allow a minimal reduction in exhaust flow, but a much quieter exhaust. Ideal for enthusiasts who want to get energy, but only those who want to slowly increase the noise of exhaust gases on the factory system.

Universal silencers - The HKS universal silencers are available in different sizes for your own exhaust. Each muffler has a higher flow and a sportier exhaust. HKS Universal Hi-Power Muffler are designed using stainless steel, while the versatile Hi-Power Ti Muffler is equipped with titanium tips that are corrosion resistant and very durable. The HKS Universal Carbon Ti Muffler is equipped with a carbon fiber silencer body and a titanium tip, while the HKS universal titanium silencer is built using titanium, both are lightweight, durable and have the ability to improve performance.
Downpipe / Up-Pipe - HKS design their drainpipes and up the pipe with larger pipelines to increase consumption, mandrel dents allow to increase the exhaust rate and smoother exhaust gas flow. In some cases, the catalytic converter is eliminated, which dramatically reduces the backpressure. Stainless steel construction provides high strength. All HKS Downpipe and Up-pipe have a straight bolt. Expect a much faster turbo booster, higher boost pressure, reduce turbocharging and higher power output.
Exhaust Accessories and Parts - HKS also offers other exhaust accessories and parts, such as a removable silencer silencer, which provides an average of 7 dB while reducing exhaust noise. The most basic way to increase engine power is to increase the amount of air and the engine. While car manufacturers are developing their capture system with cost, placement, minimal noise, and ease of filter replacement as a priority, performance becomes a lower idea. This often leads to a very restrictive suction system that damages both the throttle response and power. Installing the HKS system is one of the easiest and most economical ways to solve these problems.
Super Mega Flow Reloaded Kits - the newly redesigned Super Mega Flow Reloaded system has many proven and patented developments, including HKS Super Funnel Design, which improves debris filtration, but at the same time increases air flow. The new filter element is made of three layers of dry polyurethane foams, each of which has a different density. Unlike other oil-based filter elements, the dry element will not contaminate the MAF sensors. The new Super Honeycomb frame allows for 30% more surface area of the face compared to the old design, which leads to an improved throttle response. Other structural enhancements include new hardening frames, plastic O-ring and aluminum support plates. Most applications have CARB Exempt, which makes their roads legal. Each kit is equipped with a Super Mega Flow air filter, a MAF sensor adapter, and all necessary mounting hardware.
Racing racing kits - HKS also reworked their reload kits in the race. By sharing the same technology and design as the HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded kits, the HKS Racing Suction Reloaded Kits reload kits improve filtering and performance at the same time. Unlike Super Mega Flow Reloaded kits that use a dry polyurethane element, a wet two-layer two-layer polyurethane filter element is used in racing suction pump packages, which further improves airflow for maximum performance. Other new structural designs are the same as the HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded Kits. The Racing Suction Reloaded Kit also comes with an aluminum suction pipe, which replaces the factory pipe and further contributes to the air flow. Premium Suction Kits - HKS has developed premium suction kits for cars equipped with a well-designed OEM air casing. Instead of eliminating these high-performance air boxes with a margin, HKS uses them only by changing the spare piping and intake filter. The result is an intake system that offers more flow and better filtering, but retains the resonance margin and power band characteristics offered by the inlet system. Each kit is equipped with high-performance HKS Super Hybrid Filter, aluminum suction tubes and all necessary fixing equipment.
Super Hybrid Filters - HKS have developed Super Hybrid Filters for customers who want to improve performance while maintaining a stock system. HKS Super Hybrid Filters are a direct replacement for OEM panel filters. The new filter element is made of three layers of dry polyurethane foams with different densities. Unlike other oil-based filter elements, the dry element will not contaminate the MAF sensors.
Incoming components - HKS also offers other components and accessories. Super Mega SMF Mini Assembly and Super Mega Flow SMF Standard Assembly are available in different sizes for your custom intake systems. Spare filter elements and a replacement SHF filter are available for all HKS sets. Other components include the HKS tubular gearbox, the HKS Air Flow Meter Adapter and the HKS Air Intake Funnel.
